An abstract geometric piece. A dense mesh is designed in a 3D program and then used to etch off parts of an acrylic mirror. Dark colours are painted on the back, and on the front a matte black rectangle fills the center, creating a void of light and color. This void contrasts the colours reflected from the mirror mesh. Also, the lines of the mesh move inwards towards the void, attracted to it like a magnet. At the edges of the black void hints of white are painted, giving the illusion the void is a solid object and is backlit.
