After winning the UAE leg of the competition, Rami Farook travelled to the UK in Sep 2009 to compete against 7 other winners from around the world. In an awards ceremony held at 100% Design in London, he eventually beat out the other participants and was named the International Young Design Entrepreneur of 2009.

 

During his speech, Rami thanked God, his family and his team at traffic. Two members of the team, Katrin Greiling and Simone Sebastian, were in the audience cheering him on.
