Designer’s Profile: Milou van Ham 1964. Rotterdam artist Milou van Ham has been obsessed with words for as long she can remember. She uses it as the basis for a variety of art projects for libraries, schools, public gathering places and squares. Her more specific passion, however, is for names. She collected an enormous list of more than 50,000 names from all over the world. Why? “I like to present the world precisely as it is, and names are one way of doing this.”
