Designer’s Profile: Aart Roelandt. 1954 Aart graduated cum laude at the Design Academy Eindhoven. Today he is an independent industrial designer. His work excels in simplicity, durability and elegant suitability. Aart is particularly known as the designer of the ‘Roulandt’ recumbent bike. This bike and his dream bike ‘Max’ are part of the collection of museum Boijmans van Beuningen, Rotterdam.
