Designer’s Profile: Maria was born in Parana, Argentina in 1974, she studied at the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba, graduating in Industrial Design in 1998. From 1999 she worked in a number of Argentinean’s design studios in Cordoba and Buenos Aires, on a wide range of projects including product design, packaging and graphics, multimedia and websites. Since 2002 she is in Italy where she collaborates with a number of studios such as Marc Sadler and Makio Hasuike, and works as a freelance designer.
Tomàs was born in Cordoba, Argentina in 1970, he studied Industrial Design at the National University of Cordoba. Since 1996 he worked as industrial designer with diverse Argentinean companies. His work covered a wide range of products from appliances to medical devices, enviroments, graphics and packaging. Besides his design work, he also offered a fundamental contribution in their design strategy. In 2002 he moved to Milano, Italy and since then he collaborates with Sowden Design Studio. He also continues working as freelance for Italian and foreign companies. He organized last year’s event “In Dust We Trust”, and edited this year 2005 “Model Ideas”
