The Crate is a supremely multi-functional product. This small open box is the perfect height to be used as a bedside table, stool, sofa table, floor or shelf storage.
The Crate can be adapted to multiple uses around the home - it is flexible, mobile and effortless. This iconic product was inspired by the form of an abandoned packaging crate.
The production design is constructed from Douglas Fir. In an attempt to pay homage to the original found object, Jasper Morrison has recreated The Crate to the exact scale of the original and has retained original details.
A slit in the back of the box is romantically preserved as an integral design detail.
