The M5 table was inspired by the elementary but beautiful form of a bridge spanning England’s M5 motorway.
The bridge offered suitable solutions to a design conundrum it had been Frank’s ambition to create a table which was strong, visually elegant and lastly, simple to manufacture and construct.
The M5 table is constructed in three fixed sections; a top with two plug-in leg units. The result is a piece of multi-functional furniture which can be constructed in a matter of seconds, used immediately and that can easily be transported and stored.
The M5 is constructed from ply and the smaller of the two tables uses only a single piece of standard ply for all its parts.
