Designer’s Profile: Born in 1967. He studies Art in Lucca and Architecture at he Universityof Florence. In 1989 he meets Ron arad in London and this will greatly influence his future work for what concerns the use of metals and his example of “Artisan Artist” activity. He begins working in thearea of Lucca in collaboration with artists and architects for one piece furnishings and with the Galleria Megalopoli in Milan for exhibitions and events.
Since 1993 he works on his own creative techniques. In 1996 he starts his collaboration with Dilmos Milan by exhibiting for the first time the Monozoo Collection at Lorrach Germany (Becker Space 1998) and in New York (ICFF 1999) with a project on the relationship between art and food, a Magenta 52 Trasversal Artistic activity that he will use again in various occassions. He recently designed in catalogues and art and design magazines in Italy and abroad and some were selected by Philiph Starck for the International Design Year Book in 1998.
