Designer’s Profile: Born in the Netherlands in 1964 where he studied at the Design Department of the Gerrit Rietveld Accademy of art. Came to Italy in 1992 for a stage at the studio of Cappelli & Ranzo in Naples and started working later on in Milan in the studios of Andrea Branzi, Marco Ferreri and Claudio La Viola. Actually he is working in Milan as a design consultant for Artemide from 1997 on and for Danese from 2002 on. Designed products for Malofancon (cradle Barchetta – 1995), Artemide (lamp Castore with Michele De Lucchi - 2003) and Danese (bookend Pagina 38 – 2003).
