Middle Eastern arts organisation Bidoun has curated a series of video programmes for a bespoke lounge and cinema, designed by Dubai-based design agency Traffic. Curators and artists host presentations of artists’ films in the cinema, while the Bidoun Lounge features a ‘video bar’ with continuous screenings.
Bidoun is an arts organisation based in Dubai, Cairo and New York, dedicated to supporting and promoting contemporary artists from the Middle East. Established in 2003, the organisation publishes quarterly magazine Bidoun and the imprint Bidoun Books, commissions artists’ projects, and organises exhibitions and events.
